Our brands are found online, through specialty boutiques, and in stores with our various retail partners such as Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s and Dillard’s.

Position Summary:

Meison is seeking a passionate Brand Specialist to support our Specialty/Boutique business. This role serves as a critical point of contact for our boutique partners and Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs). You will provide exceptional sales support, manage the order lifecycle, and develop a deep understanding of our products to drive account loyalty and year-over-year growth.

Salary Range: $55,000 to $57,000

Responsibilities: 

Boutique Account Support & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of boutique accounts and ISRs.
  • Provide premium service and timely communication regarding order placement, product inquiries, and post-sales needs.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships to drive account loyalty and repeat business.
  • Ensure all boutique partners receive a service experience that reflects Meison's luxury brand positioning.

Sales Order Processing & Management

  • Facilitate order entry, confirmations, and updates using NetSuite and NuORDER platforms.
  • Track the full order lifecycle from placement through delivery to ensure accuracy and on-time fulfillment.
  • Proactively resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, or delays.

Seasonal Selling & Market Preparation

  • Support ISRs during markets by scheduling appointments, preparing line sheets, and gathering product samples.
  • Participate in showroom appointments, trade shows, and virtual market sessions.
  • Travel (approximately 15-20%) to set up and work seasonal markets and tradeshows.
  • Compile order recaps and manage follow-up communications post-market.

Product & Data Management

  • Coordinate sample requests and ensure partners receive accurate product information, swatches, and marketing materials.
  • Maintain up-to-date line sheets, product catalogs, pricing, and order forms.
  • Ensure marketing and email campaigns are aligned with current markets.

Sales Reporting & Analysis

  • Track sell-in and reorder activity for assigned accounts.
  • Compile sales reports regarding reorder trends and shipping status.
  • Provide recommendations on replenishment opportunities or product swaps based on account performance.

Inventory & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Monitor stock levels and communicate availability or production cutbacks to accounts.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Sales Manager or internal teams as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising or related field
  • 1 - 3 years in fashion apparel wholesale sales, retail buying or merchandising,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with NuORDER and Netsuite is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with a focus on premium customer service
  • Attributes: Strong attention to detail, a “problem solving” mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
