Associate Account Manager - Apparel (Wholesale/Retail)

Position Summary:
The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by enhancing year-over-year (YoY) store sales and margin increases through effective partnerships and strategic product planning. This role involves leading the RMC team, managing partner relationships, and overseeing go-to-market (GTM) strategies to ensure successful product launches and partner engagement.
Responsibilities:
Drive Sales and Margin Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive YoY store sales and margin increases in collaboration with key partners.
- Analyze market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities and optimize product offerings.
Product Planning for B2B:
- Lead the product planning process for B2B initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability, pricing, and positioning meet partner and customer needs.
Team Management:
- Effectively manage and lead the RMC (Retail, Marketing, and Channel) team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the team, monitoring progress and ensuring high performance.
Partner Marketing & Training:
- Own and oversee partner marketing and training needs, ensuring that partners are well-equipped to promote and sell products.
- Develop and execute partner training programs, marketing materials, and campaigns that drive partner engagement and sales.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Management:
- Manage GTM strategies and execution, ensuring successful product launches and market penetration.
- Coordinate with internal teams and partners to align on GTM plans and deliverables, ensuring timely and effective execution.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Apparel, Sales or equivalent
- Proven work experience in driving sales and margin growth within a retail or B2B environment
- Experience with women’s apparel special production including, but not limited to private label production
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving cross-functional initiatives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong partner relationships
- Strategic thinker with a track record of successful product planning and go-to-market execution
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
